Modern Slavery Statement

AEUK is committed to tackling modern slavery within its operations and its supply chain as follows:

  • Train all staff on how to spot and report signs of modern slavery during the recruitment process and throughout its supply chain (land-based agents).
  • Identify risks by conducting risk assessments to identify and analyze supply chain risks, from end to end. This involves looking at direct and indirect suppliers and taking steps to reduce risks within every link in the supply chain.
  • Perform due diligence by conducting audits of our land-based agent operations to find out how staff is sourced, and any prices paid.
  • Implement a Supplier Code of Conduct for all its suppliers which clearly outline standards and expectations for ethical behaviour in the areas of labor, health and safety and the environment.
  • Provide its supply chain with training that explains their contractual obligations to comply with ethical business standards and practices. AEUK also commits to use the UK government’s Modern Slavery Assessment Tool (MSAT) in order to identify further risks and understand and identify where there may be risks of modern slavery in its supply chain.
